In July 2020, I compiled a list of 4 responsive and modern MediaWiki skins for a potential customer. Since this information might be relevant to others, I decided to create this page.
Contrary to popular DokuWiki templates, which often can be used with the latest version of the software, MediaWiki skins are more picky about the version of the core software they can be applied to. Skins consist of source code, layout files and sometimes even third party code to add certain functionality for that specific skin only.
